Learning Journey to Gardens By The Bay (Tomorrow, 28 Feb)

Boys and Girls,

What have we learnt in class together today?

Remember to refer to your Gardens by the Bay form and diary to check the things you need to bring for our trip to Gardens by the Bay tomorrow.

- Storybook
- Water bottle
- Cap
- Raincoat
- Face towel
- Medication (if any)
- Wet/Dry tissue
Please also bring along your pencil case.

Reporting and Dismissal Time: As per usual school day (7.30a.m. - 1.45p.m.)
Attire: PE shirt with shorts

You may want to put on an insect repellent patch on your short and apply some sun block lotion before you come to school too. Snacks will be provided so you do not need to bring any.

We will meet together in school tomorrow! Have a good rest and get ready for tomorrow's trip!

Read Up More About Insects
Boys and girls, we have read "A Butterfly Is Born" and have learnt about butterfly and its life stages this week. As we continue our learning next week, you may want to borrow a book or look up the internet to find out more information about insects. 



We will be doing writing next week. You will have to think of an insect which fascinates you and write about it. We will share more about it in class next week.

Making Bubble Solution

I hope all of us had fun making bubble solution and blowing bubbles today! If you like to make your own bubble solution at home, you may follow the steps which we have done in class today. 

 Steps
1.Take about half a cup of water.
2.Pour in a little glycerine (optional) and detergent.
3.Gently stir the mixture with a straw.
4.Let it set for 10 minutes.



Remember These Important Points
Only blow out from the straws
Only blow bubbles into the air, not into the cup

Tomorrow, we will continue our writing on "Blowing Bubbles".

We will be going to Gardens By The Bay on Tuesday, 28 Feb to do activities and learn about environment together. You can look at your form for information or the following:
