Sign Report Book

Remember to show your report book to your parents today, have it signed and hand in to me by This Thursday, 16 November. Do pass your P3 booklist to your parents too. This list will show you the books you will need to have for P3 next year.

Things To Bring Tomorrow (Tuesday, 14 Nov)

Things To Bring




1) 1 Light Ecofriendly Bag 
For these few coming days, all of you will be getting back your books, files and materials which you have in our classroom. Your subject teachers may also be returning you your items. You may like to bring a light ecofriendly bag to contain them and bring them home. If you do not an ecofriendly bag, you could bring a plastic bag.
*Above is an example of an ecofriendly bag.

2) Classroom Library Storybooks
We will be collecting back all the storybooks which you have borrowed from our classroom library. Please bring them tomorrow.

ZPS Shining Stars 2017 (Tomorrow - Thursday, 9 November)

As you will be having your ZPS Shining Stars performance tomorrow, you only need to report to school in the afternoon. There will be no school lessons for you in the morning. Please eat your lunch at home before coming to school.
Reporting Time: 1 p.m.
Dismissal Time: 5 p.m.
Attire: PE attire and school shoes

SA2 English Language and Maths Examination Papers (To Be Signed)
The following SA2 examination papers have been returned to all of you. Remember to show them to your parents for signature and bring them back on Next Monday.
1) English Composition Paper 1
2) English Paper 2
3) Listening Comprehension
4) Maths Paper

You should also have recorded all the marks for your exam papers in your diary. You may total up the marks for your English Language SA2 marks.

Parent Symposium 2018 - An Invitation To Parents Of P2-P6 Pupils (Wednesday- Thursday, 3-4 January 2018)
Our children have received a form regarding the above today. There will be a Parent Symposium at the start of next year and we would like to invite parents and guardians to attend this symposium. There would be workshops and parenting talks.

I would need your help to indicate on the acknowledgement slip which workshop or talk you would like to attend and your dietary preference. If you are not attending, please do indicate a "0" for the number of people attending or indicate nil.

A reminder to our children to complete your corrections and bring your Maths Workbook 2B Part 1 tomorrow.

Revise For Oral Examination (This Thursday, 2 November)

Remember to revise for your oral examination. Use the oral practice paper which you have gotten in class today to revise. Let's recap the points we have used to practise for our read-aloud and picture conversation today.

Read-Aloud Passage
1) Pronounce the words clearly
2) Read expressively
3) Good tone and appropriate pace
4) Loud
5) Stress on special words

Picture Conversation (Stimulus-Based Conversation)
1) Keep talking and sharing about yourself
2) Be confident!

Spend time to revise for your Mother Tongue Paper 2 (Tomorrow, 1 November) and oral examination too.

Revise For Examinations And Homework

Do be reminded that you have your following examinations next week. Remember to set aside time this weekend to revise for them.

Next Monday (30th October): English Language Paper 2
Next Tuesday (31st October): Maths
Next Wednesday (1st November): Mother Tongue Language Paper 2
Next Thursday (2nd November):   English Language and Mother Tongue Language Oral

Remember that for your Maths examination, all the topics which you have learnt in this year will be covered. We have been doing papers for practice and revising questions from every topic during lessons these few days. Remember to revise these topics at home too.

*P2 Maths Tested Topics: Numbers to 1000, Addition and Subtraction Within 1000, Multiplication Tables of 2, 3, 4, 5 and 10, Length, Mass, Word Problems, Fractions, Shapes, Solid Figures and Patterns, Time, Money, Volume and Picture Graphs
